Using Virtual Desktops with Cerner

We are currently in the process of implementing Cerner as a hosted solution. We are finding issues due to the fact that we are being told that Cerner does not support the use of Virtual Desktops at the user level. We have local computers that use a VMWare Virtual Desktop, then accessing the hosted applications from Cerner's domain using Citrix. Is anyone else currently using this type of infrastructure? If I register for the event and then am not able to attend, is my registration fee fully refundable? We are implementing Cerner right now and our go live date was just pushed back from this Dec 2017 to sometime in the spring, which may conflict with the conference.
